24 July 2026)The inaugural Champions Kabaddi League (CKL) concluded with great success in the Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing together outstanding sporting talent, enthusiastic fans, and distinguished dignitaries in a celebration of athletic excellence and teamwork. The league was
organized by Mr. Hitesh Sikka Managing Director Yellow Paint International Media Services Co. W.L.L. and Founder of Champions Kabaddi League with his partner Mr. Rajat Sehgal and Co-Founder Mr. Jagdeep Pal Singh in collaboration with the Bahrain Kabaddi Committee, setting a new benchmark for the promotion of kabaddi in the Kingdom.The grand closing ceremony was graced by H.E. Mr. Md. Rais Hasan Sarower, ndc, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, the Ambassador congratulated the organizers for successfully delivering a world-class sporting event and praised the initiative for promoting kabaddi while strengthening cultural and sporting relations among participating communities and Mr. Mohammed Mansoor, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bahrain Cricket Federation and Bahrain Kabaddi Committee, Mr. Sami Ali, President of the Bahrain Cricket Federation and Bahrain Kabaddi Committee. Both dignitaries applauded the organizing committee for their meticulous planning and professional execution of the tournament, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in encouraging youth participation and advancing sports development in Bahrain and Committee’s commitment for supporting the continued development of kabaddi in the Kingdom.Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Hitesh Sikka expressed his gratitude to for believing in the vision of the Champions Kabaddi League and expressed its heartfelt appreciation to all participating teams, technical officials, referees, volunteers, sponsors, media partners, supporters and organizing team whose collective efforts contributed to the overwhelming success of the event. Special thanks to renowned singer from Dubai Sonia Majeed for remarkable singing of Champions Kabaddi League Anthem during the event.The organizers also acknowledged the invaluable guidance and leadership of Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, League Commissioner of the Champions Kabaddi League, Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation, and Chairman of the Referee Board of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, whose expertise played a significant role in maintaining the highest technical standards throughout the tournament.The tournament concluded with a thrilling championship final in which Fearless Fighters emerged as the inaugural Champions Kabaddi League Season 1 Champions, defeating Gulf Titan by a commanding 27–08 scoreline. Fearless Fighters delivered an outstanding all-round performance, showcasing exceptional raiding, solid defensive coordination, and remarkable teamwork to secure the historic title. Gulf Titan displayed determination and fighting spirit throughout the tournament, finishing as worthy runners-up after an impressive campaign. As the curtains came down on the first edition of the Champions Kabaddi League, the organizers reaffirmed their commitment to making the championship an annual international sporting event that will continue to attract top talent, promote youth development, and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for kabaddi.The successful completion of the Champions Kabaddi League marks not only the end of an exciting tournament but also the beginning of a promising future for kabaddi in the Kingdom of Bahrain
